Started in December 2012, LibTechWomen was formed by myself, Becky Yoose, Bohyun Kim, Andromeda Yelton, and many other awesome people as a way to create a safe space for women and their allies to talk about gender, libraries, technology, and every other issue under the sun. #LibTechGender was born out of a panel I did at Internet Librarian and the tag is to track, discuss, and keep the conversation flowing.
You can #libtechwomen/#libtechgender at:
- Google+
- GoogleGroups
- IRC
- Tumblr, also #libtechwomen/#libtechgender
- Twitter, also #libtechwomen/#libtechgender
This site is curated to track not only the work I’m doing but also the work of others. Suggestions, questions, or comments should be directed here. Note: Due to increase in the discussion, I’ve now broken up content to their own individual pages.
