  • Liaison, ITHELP (2011 – present)
    • Facilitator of monthly meetings  with IT department heads
    • Coordinate with various IT departments on specific library needs
    • Work with ITHELP’s liaison to the library on streamlining point of contact for hardware/software support and  updates
    • Develop technology assessments and plans based on customer, library, and staff needs
    • Povide technology and computer support within the library.
  • Team facilitator, Digital Initiatives Group (DiG) (2011 – present)
    • Library specific digital initiatives that range from emerging technologies such as social networks and web platforms to piloting hardware and software devices and support.
    • Set agenda, lead team meetings, take notes, follow up on tasks and suggest additional work.
  • Team facilitator, Emerging Technologies Workgroup (2011 – 12)
    • Marketing and outreach, mainly in social networking and online.
    • Examples of work the ETWG has done:
      • Mobile reference at Welcome Week, 2011: Using laptops, created a mobile reference area in Bostwick Commons, handed out library and related literature, provided reference to students and faculty
      • Increase online presence: Facebook “likes” up 486% (29 “likes” in April 2011 to 141 likes in June 2012), blog viewership has doubled, and blog readership has also expanded
      • Create book displays for Banned Books Week and Graphic Novel Month, complete with online marketing, blog posts, and college wide facilitation

  • Member, Staff Meeting (2011 – present)
    • Monthly department meetings to see what my colleagues are up to, discuss my current projects, brainstorm on future projects.

    • Space Team’s goals to work with planning of the library’s interior, which includes surveys, purchasing, and implementation of library furniture, space, and equipment.
    • Attended bi-monthly meetings.
  • Member, Institutional Repository team (2012 – Present)
    • Breakout team from DiG to work with college wide initiative

  • Team Facilitator, IT/Library Monthly Meetings
    • Monthly meetings, in which myself, the director of the library, the CIO of the IT department, and other IT department heads meet to discuss current and upcoming projects.
    • Set agenda, lead team meetings, take notes, follow up on tasks and suggest additional work.
  • Member, Institutional Repository workgroup (2012 – Present)
    • Initiative between IT, Media Services, Print Services, and the Library for a cloud based product to begin preparatory work for a college wide institutional repository that will be launched in the next year.
    • Partners with the library’s digital initiatives project of the same structure
    • Co-wrote the metadata analysis for the project
    • Attended bi-monthly meetings.
  • Member, Project Prioritization team (2012 – Present)
    • Newly formed, the Project Prioritization team’s purpose is for stakeholders across the campus to have a voice in how IT dictates the prioritization of projects that range from campus wide to department wide.

  • Member, Faculty Association Communications Group (2011- Present)
    • Work with  Faculty Association on communications, mainly online marketing and social media.
    • Attended monthly meetings.
  • Member, Web Access Team (2011 – 2012)
    • Organized by the college communications department, invited members worked on creating a cohesive web plateform for the college.
